Andøya is situated in
northern Norway, between Bodø and Tromsø.
The easiest way to get there is by plane. You fly with
SAS or Norwegian to either Bodø or Tromsø,
where Widerøe is flying commuting services to Andenes.
The participants will be picked up at Andenes airport
and driven the 5 kilometers to the rocket range. Check
with your local travel agency to get corresponding flights.
There should be available cheaper tickets for students.
Team Space Camp do not have the capacity to help the participants
with booking tickets, but we are pleased to answer questions
you may have about your travel.
It is also possible to travel to Andøya
through either Sweden or Norway by bus, car or train,
or even by ferry along the coast. These are more complicated
affairs, but if you have time, you will certainly experience
some spectacular nature on the way. However, you should
be aware that the distances are long, and you are expected
to arrive Andøya at the specified time.
