Admittance to Norway

All foreign nationals who wish to come to Norway must have a valid passport or other identity documents which are recognised as a travel document.

Foreign nationals from a number of countries cannot enter Norway without a visa. A visitor's visa may be granted for a tourist visit, family visit, official business, business trip, study visit or other purpose. A visitor's visa has a maximum duration of three months.

Applicants in need of a visa shold no later than 1 February to initiate the visa application procedure. If the applicant fullfillls the requirements to participate at the camp, Team Space Camp will issue a necessary preliminary guarantee form for visiting Norway. The student can then apply for a visitor's visa, a process which usually takes from one to three months depending on the applicant's nationality. The application may be mailed or delivered by hand to the Norwegian foreign service mission. The processing fee is for the time beeing 35 EURO.

The application deadline for European Space Camp is April 1st, and all applications will then be evaluated to decide who gets to participate at the camp. If an applicant is not offered a position at the camp, the preliminary guarantee for visiting Norway will be withdrawn.

Nationals of the following countries are not required to have a visa prior to entry into Norway:
